Thank you, Riot, for bringing back my baby...

I've been maining Elise since last year, when I started playing League, and she's always been my absolute favorite champion. Last year, I fell into Bronze after placing Silver II through my promos. Looking back, I can say that it was deserved -- I had a LOT to learn about the game overall --- but I also fought my way out of Bronze. This year, after all the major changes to Summoner's Rift, the jungle, items, etc., I fell back into Bronze, playing and losing game after game in an attempt to figure out how to make her work again, and felt pretty terrible about being there, because I knew that I was good enough to get out, but it felt so impossibly difficult sometimes. Elise was still my absolute favorite champ, but she just wasn't very good anymore. Sure, I'd win sometimes, but it was hard to feel very impactful in the early game when everything was so much stronger, and even harder in the late game, when everyone else scaled so much better. But the buffs she got in 5.14 have helped her so much to feel the way she did when I first started playing her last year, and tonight I finally escaped Bronze hell with a 56% win rate on Elise after 229 games played with her this season! So, thanks for bringing back my baby! <3
