Lee Sin Help

So I play a few junglers but I find Lee Sin to be the most fun. I also usually perform well on him not great all the time nobodys perfect. I was wondering on a few thoughts about item choices for him. I usually tend to build offensive on him. Does anybody high elo think its better to build him defensive instead? Also I tried it once and it worked well for helping with map pressure and seige. Does item 3512 seem good on Lee? My usual main items besides boot because they change areitem 1408 item 3074 item 3071 item 3036. I just started adding steraks and tried zz thought it was good. Any tips on this guy would be appreciated. Wheter its strat or item build.

Idk if plat 4 is high enough elo for you but i can give you a few tips

  1. Don't play Lee Sin in ranked.. You will be disappointed i promise.
  2. Gank > Farm Lee Sin hardly scales well with items as a jungler, its best to just get ur team fed and take objectives as you go. If you spend too much time farming early, you will lose out on Lee Sin's strongest part of the game.
  3. Ahead -> Bruiser & if Behind -> Tanky & if Lane Lee -> Dmg Split push
  4. Peel for your carries in most team fights unless you absolutely have to initiate for the team, or you get the opportunity to kick theirs straight into yours.

Builds: Tanky/Behind: item 1408 item 3111 item 3190 item 3143 item 3742 item 3071 Bruiser/Even-Ahead:item 1408 item 3111 item 3156 item 3071 item 3053 item 3742 (You don't have to finish item 3156 item 3155 is usually efficient enough till later. Obviously get the Defensive items in the order you need them. Lane/Ahead/Splitpush:item 3074 item 3047 item 3072 item 3071 item 3156 item 3053

Situationals: item 2045 +item 1412 is pretty good too and item 3512 as you mentioned can be good if your team lacks the comp to deal with a split pusher.

Hope this helps, Good luck bud.

In addition to what Red Rengo said playing Lee well requires excellent mechanics as well as game knowledge. The best way to get that knowledge is to watch streamers and to watch your own replays. replay.gg is a free service that does not violate your terms of agreement.

Watching your replays will allow you to see what mistakes you made as well as let you boost your confidence when you pull off kickass play(then you can rewind it over and over again). Joking aside watching your games is the quickest way to learn from your mistakes.

For streamers I recommend stonewall008 for general jungling and Gripex for Lee sin games. Stonewall will explain every decision he makes including when he misplays. Gripex is not the best commentator, but he's incredible and he will show you the limits of what can be accomplished by a good lee sin. The most important thing to remember is that even the best players make mistakes. They miss q's, they over-commit and they overestimate their allies.

The best advice I can personally give is to have fun. Revel in the high points of the game and accept the low points. You can't control anyone other than yourself and win or lose Lee Sin is a very fulfilling champ BECAUSE you will always be able to improve.
