No incentive to try

Might as well get it out of the way, the new leveling system is a farce. The way the leveling system is now, the only thing you gain after matches is XP. However, I've found that winning or losing gives you roughly the same amount of XP (disregarding the "First Win" mission). Let's put it in a way more people can understand: Jane's fridge has 20 cups of soda inside it, Joshua's fridge has 16. Jane says that all of the soda in her fridge is yours, but you can't choose Joshua's and you have to do backbreaking chores to have them. Joshua says all the soda in his fridge is yours, and you don't have to do anything except not choose Jane's. You ask people to put in a major effort to get only slightly more of the same thing, what do you think they're going to choose? Two 20 minute losses give you far more XP than one 45 minute win, and since XP is the only thing you're getting people are going to go with the "better" option. When it happens that enough of these matches levels you up, you get...roughly 90 BE for it. The first time I thought about it was when someone brought it up in one of my matches. They were practically inting and I asked them why they were, and they said they didn't need to try because there's no point because win or lose the reward is the same. We obviously lost that game, but what they said made me do my research.

So, putting it in clear words: League of Legends has become a high risk/no reward Communist grindfest with no incentive to win. When you actually get rewarded for winning, after a ton of games, the rewards are demoralizing and absolute shit. Once people realize this, they'll stop putting in the effort and the game will become even more cancerous than people have been complaining about before. Riot, please give us BE for our wins, even just a little. Otherwise there's no point. The only thing we're gaining is a little extra XP, but after that there's no point in trying so please Riot, give us an actual incentive to win.
