I totally get the "ladder shifted down" but this is frickin extreme. I've been gold every season since season 2 or 3 (with the exception of last season where I actually did get gold but slid back into silver) and there were several plat players that I played with and against during my promos. Frankly it's pretty discouraging and makes me want to spend a lot more time playing Overwatch and a lot less time on LoL. Just my 2 cents.
Gotta climb. That's how the system works with a soft reset on mmr.
B1 from silver anything is not a huge drop.
You hear the challenger players complaining? They get p1 AT BEST. Now that's a huge drop.
Bronze and silver is easy to climb through. If you have been gold every season it should take you like 100 games max to hit gold. It should take way less as you get 26 per win.
alaric is right, though those who have little to no free time deserve to be angry. If ur just playing another game well u got time for 100 matches

That isn't very extreme. You'll be out of bronze in a few games unless you are actually terrible. Suck it up and play on like the rest of us.
Or like how boxing champions get to pick and choose their opponents.
