Please for the love of god buff turrets

I cant actually play top lane or bot lane. Top lane someone gank's me and they get to freely walk under turret 2 v 1 delete me then walk out while being tickled (whenever turret decides to actually help me..) Then they take turret in a single push while i'm dead. And if i happen to respawn my TP is probably on that extra minute cool down. Bot lane if we die the jungler just rolls on in and takes turret in a single push.

turrets are so freaking squishy and they do next to no damage at almost every phase the game except very early. And people get to freely position themselves under my own turret to burst kill me. I focus them and they burst me and turret keeps on shooting those minions. I try to clear minions i just get bursted. Edit: Or the enemy laner and jungle gets to have their way with me until turret actually targets them. Which doesnt do anything anyways.

Considering it as part of upcoming preseason. Unlikely much will be done on that front before then.

Just playing a bit of devil's advocate here, wouldn't buffing turrets give even more of an advantage to champions who have ways to reset tower aggro (ie Fizz, reworked akali, kayne, etc.), and champions with fast+reliable escapes (ie Zed, Leblanc, pretty much any assassin?). What buffing turrets would do mostly is hinder bruisers, divers, and tanks from diving, which would make the assassins more favorable picks. But with the nerfs coming to Electrocute, sudden impact, cheap shot, etc, maybe it would turn out alright.

I saw a post or comment somewhere that said something along the lines of turrets should do percent max hp damage (I think it was that. Might have been % current health) instead of a static amount. I thought that was an amazing idea because right now turrets do next to nothing. I can't even turret hug because, like you pointed out, I get burst under turret, die, and they walk away missing barely any health. Sometimes I get lucky enough to be able to dodge and outplay them for like 20 seconds running around the tower and they still walk away after taking so much turret agro. It's so dumb. Riot needs to fix this.

Lol this is truly the only thing i see wrong with this game. All the other parts of this buff the starting ad is now down by 5 on a champ huge nerf 😆. I can careless because it doesnt change anything. Turrets doing more damage does.

I'd like to see towers start hitting champions similar the way the old inhibitor towers used to work.

Hitting them with a beam that does some burst dmg on contact, but then a steadily increasing dot combined with a debuff that slows movement and attack speed.

This would add some real risk to early dives, and still punish champs who can abuse the targeting physics.
