Our mid laner goes Blitzcrank and wins against Zoe while ganking every other lane.
My adc went Kha'zix while I was tabbed but we destroyed Ezreal anyway and won lane really hard, our jungler went Taliyah which is weird but who cares.
I can build literally anything and no one will say a word. No boots? Meta-breaking! Banner rush? Free tower! Ohmwrecker? No what the hell.
Adcs are stuck with pool noodles and plaster swords
Everything is changing so fast that no one is entirely sure what the meta is, everyone is either just playing whats OP or what they like.
Unorthodox and cheesy tactics in solo queue are becoming more common and teammates are more willing to play along with it.(Ex. Utility Mid laner that lets their Jungler hypercarry take all the farm.) I for one like the Scuttle Crab changes :^)

I want to say that that game wasn't a symptom of the current meta, but actually a self-contained fiesta

Best midnight meta seen yet so far:

Taric Leona botlane selected in draft.

"Ez pz".

Team mostly reacts in horror, but it's normals, game proceeds.

Ez pz CC-tank botlane STEAMROLLS their opponents while the rest of us, me included, crap the bed mightily.

In the end they are unable to save us through no fault of their own.

With the changes to her damage, Taliyah jungle is apparently not bad, or just experimental right now. Pro players are playing her apparently. I can't wait to try this

My favorite thing in the meta is enemy jungler's counter-jungling with champions who aren't good at it, often at the expense of ganks. Apparently it's in vogue I guess, but there have been so many matches of late that I have only won because the enemy tried to counter jungle letting me recover my teams position. The key thing is that they typically still do their own side in full, meaning they are managing to counter by giving up on ganks.

I've been playing a lot of top lane Anivia.

Archangels, Rod of Ages, Banner of Command and Zz'Rot portal + anivia's absurd lane control and anti-siege.

It's really not fair.
