Can you please riot just nerf Soraka she is no where near fun to play against you cant engage on her you cant attack her adc either. Like how am I suppose to do this she heals 50 hp per q in lane not to mention the harass and infinite lane sustain please riot stop this I can hit w and heal my adc so now they do what they want meta forgot janna

Downtime means that they are on CD. All of her abilities have a cooldown. Her E is really her only threatening ability for diving her, and it starts at a 24 second cooldown. Other than that, she gets wrecked by all ins. Her heal for her adc starts on an 8 second cooldown. Which can feel like forever if you are on the Soraka end of things. Her Q is pretty spammable at a 5 second cooldown, but even that is a timeframe long enough that you can go in on her.
That's what he means by downtime.

I know fighting her with varus is noice because of his free GW, but a pokier more aggressive support can help. also she is incredibly immobile,

her q heals her 50 - 75 hp

Kaìju1 votesAs someone who just started playing Soraka only I can for a fact tell you she is not that great if you get GW. It cuts healing by a lot and it only heals for like 150 +some scaling at max rank, so GW puts it at like 100 health a W which is pretty bad for 10% of her max health.
