Duskblade Akali?

I was looking at the new buffs to Akali, and there was mention of this new item, and so it made me wonder... How well would it work on her? Any good Akali build SHOULD have 1 big AD item to give her spell vamp as well as give a nice amount of damage to her E and her Q proc. And with the way you go in on somebody as Akali (Q the enemy then ult on then auto) the damage from its passive should be useful to finishing the enemy... Do you think this was intended to make Akali viable? Do you think this is a good item for her?

They almost never escape with little HP point from my precious Akali, and when they do, I ignite them... so I would prefer a Lich Bane instead of that item. I think that thing it's broken with champs like, Riven, Zed, Yasuo, Talon... etc.

Anyways, I will try it a couple of time in normal games.

I see it as something that goes along side the spellblade rather than in place of the spellblade...

The reason why I said Lich Bane is because it is the 5th or 6th item I build and I wouldn't change the core items Hextech, Rylai, Rabadon (beside the boots) for that AD item.

Ohhhh.... I consider Lich Bane to be the first or second item I buy... And Rylai's and Rabadon's to be later builds. I find the spellblade procs more important than scaling.

I buy first Hextech then spellblade as a second item, but I dont finish the Lich Bane after that because I don't have enough AP to take advantage of Lich's Passive... so I buy Spellblade, but then I buy Rylai to survive a little more, then finish the Lich Bane. If I'm way ahead I finish Rabadon before Lich. Then with Rylai and Rabadon, Lich's Passive is SO AWESOME! Sorry for my english, my native lenguage is spanish.

maw is pretty good on akali imo. great on anybuild where you don't plan on getting zhonia. to survive bursts. especially if you get a bit of attack speed, great with passive.
