He has 48.81% winrate now (29th out of 44 middle champs) and a pick rate of 5.9% and ban rate of 1.69%. You can't deny that Zed is utter shit right now. Back then all you salty mage mains complained about Zhonyas nerf, Duskblade passive, Zed's "mobility and insane poke" (in quote cos LUL) and high burst. Well now look at him. A shadow of his former self (pun intended). Why so quiet now? Why not call for buffs? Cowardssssssssssss.

Going by the flow of conversation you should be asking for champions with LOWER winrate than Zed and supposedly harder to play, not higher.
You do also realise win rate is very easily skewed by pick rate right?
And it also depends on your definition of "harder to play". Do you consider underpowered champions harder to play? Do you consider 1 trick ponies that are easily countered and nullified harder to play? Or do you consider pressing buttons and being all flashy the testament of hard to play?
Not only that, we haven't even settled whether or not Zed is even hard to play! Sure his W is tricky, but really, do you consider ANY part of his kit besides that to be hard to play?
That said, in the end of the day, any champions you rarely or simply don't ever see in the competitive scene ever are your hardest champs, which is like 40-50% of the game's roster. Why are they so rarely used? Because in the highest level, they are handicaps. And many of them surely have worse win rates than 46-47%.

You are acting like there's an even number of AD and AP Mid Lane champs. Only 5/46 are AD. 4 of those AD chains are in the top 28 Champions with the lowest of those 4 barely under a 50% win rate.
Put another way, 80% of AD Mids are in the top 28 champions, while only 39% of AP Mids are in the top 28 Champions. When you look at it that way, AD champs are doing much better than their AP counterparts.

Statistically speaking, zed is balanced. His kit requires immense skill to pull off and even then relies on baiting you for to fight at half Heath so your passive could apply. However he is completely frustrating to face. His w makes killing him difficult as he can jump to safety very easily. His ult has decent range allowing him to pop an adc regardless of their position then immediately return to safety.
There are counters and counter-play, but even so it's still not fun to face.
AninLegions7772 votesZed isn't half as annoying as the top mages. Zed has to pass the ENTIRE frontline and then reach the back line where he'll prolly get CC'ed for the entire duration of his ult. It's risky and real Zed players know how hard it is to kill anyone with your ult.

Sure his ult could be rendered useless, I run annie so I see to it that zed doesn't get a free ult, BUT when he pulls it off and poofs back with little to no damage, I tend to get salty. In all fairness, zed isn't the worst of champions in this regard, but to deny the frustration his kit can cause is not really possible.
