After Getting Pyke one PBE, I wanted to share some first impressions.
So the Context Is i ended up having to play him mid, since people were scrambling for support (for once) to try to get Pyke, I ended up s first pick and got to play him.
And my god was it fun.
His stun is so satisfying, same within ultimate, his harpoon pull adds skill requirement and pre planning, and landing it can be crucial, but missing it can be detrimental.
His passive offers amazing lane sustain for what otherwise would be a bad early game.
His W is the only thing that feels somewhat lacklustre, feeling like a shorter but more powerful Twitch Q, only really used in lane to flank and proc passive healing.
Overall it feels like he's on the right track, going to probably be best mid to late game due to his high early cooldowns, I still feel like he could manage in both the mid and support role (Not so much jungle after the recent changes to the jungle).
And thats all! I HIGHLY recommend people who have PBE try to grab him and try him out.
