For whoever hates the game right now. League is a new game, accept it.

This new season has marked a huge transition into the game. It is fair to say that league has become now a whole new game. As if a company has bought LoL license, used his foundation but build a new game with it without renaming it. I believe it's time to realize that the game won't ever be close to what it used to be as a result.

"A whole season of pre-season"

New items, new runes, new objectives, new everything. It's "not the league I liked" well... yeah?. Another conception of gameplay, balance and obviously another way to manage the company and reach the customers.

When I try a new game, I do not necesseraly like it nor keep playing it. I can easly delete the game or sell it without even finishing it. Right now, I'm in that phase of testing this new game. I try to let alone my memories of league because it's an obvious sentimental trap.

"It's all about damage". Yeah it is and it's not going to change. It's the main drive from now on.

If I were to compare to old days I would go circlejerk and repeat what has been said on the board for the entire season. That's not the point. I think everyone ranting on the board right now should let go the nostalgia and accept it is a new game. Hence, you need to ask you the good questions. Do you like the game or not? If not, why do you keep playing it? If the answers is because you care, you've fall in that sentimal trap and you've been fooled. The game you knew is gone forever, as much as Aatrox and other champions are gone.

Start from a blank page. Start the game, looks the items, look the game and the pace, look how riot is behaving and look the balance changes as if everything was new to you. Let go that hate and hanger you have. Retreat from the depressive place that the board have become and make your own opinion. Behave like riot announced the operationnal end of the game to start league 2. I believe that a lot of the circlejerk on the board is the result of players willing to fight back to retrieve their favorite game. It's out of topic, really.
