Champion-specific taunts

With Aurelion Sol having so many champion-specific lines, I suddenly realized I've never heard any champion specific taunts in game. I know they exist, but I've never gotten then to happen. So my question is, how do champion specific taunts happen? Do they play when killing that champion, when moving towards them, or what?

They play when you use the Taunt emote. You can do this by typing /t into chat, or a hotkey. I think its ctrl-2 but that may be the joke emote. May be ctrl-1
