How VGU's are prioritized
With the January roadmap released, I'm just plain confused as to how champion VGU's are chosen and prioritized. The way I see it right now, it doesn't seem to follow any logical progression.
Right now they're working on
Irelia,
Aatrox, and
Akali. All of them are definitely in need of an update, yes, but there are multiple champions that have much more severe issues.
Mordekaiser and
Fiddlesticks in particular are in such a bad place that I couldn't blame you for forgetting they're even in the game with how rarely they're played. Not only are their models severely outdated, but their kits have been rendered completely obsolete. Fiddle can't compete with the newer highly mobile, highly versatile champions, while Morde is just a mess in every sense of the word. Part fighter, part mage, part tank, part top, part mid, part bot, his kit tries to be everything at once, which end up just being nothing instead.
Meanwhile Akali and Irelia are still usable enough that I still see them in games regularly. Yes they sometimes struggle to stay relevant, but not such that they have become completely obsolete.
What confuses me even more is Aatrox. He's a relatively new champion, and yet he's already seen multiple updates, and now he's adding another to the list. You would think the much older champs would take priority, especially now with how successful the VGU's have been.
Is there a progression here that I'm missing? If not, I'd like to request that old, busted champs like Morde and Fiddle get bumped up on the priority scale.
