Just because something isn't OP doesn't mean it shouldn't be changed

There are things in the game that are just so god damn infuriating to play against that you want them nerfed.

(Mid Lane Numbers) Akali has a 45.8% winrate for Plat+. Is this winrate unbearable? No, but there is more to the story. Just because Akali doesn't win as much as other champions such as Diana's 52.8% and Katarina's 51.6% (Both with higher Pick rates being 3rd and 4th respectively compared to Akali's 6th) She is so much more infuriating to play against. Now while I don't know for certain, my assumption is because those other 2 champions team fight significantly better than akali. So Akali has a harder time ending games.

But who would I rather play against? Absolutely Diana. Do I like playing against Katarina? Hell no. Resourceless champion with resets is obnoxious. But it's nowhere near as annoying to play against as Akali. That shroud ability is possibly one of the least interactive spells in the game. When she drops shroud there is Jack shit you can do about it. Pinks, Sweepers, and Ignite show you where she is, but if you are a champion where most of your damage is targeted, you can't do anything with that information.

There are plenty more champions like this where on paper they aren't some incredible pick. But when you see them in the loading screen you just know you are going to have a bad time because the champion is annoying to play against. I think the real indicator of what I'm saying is that despite her relatively low winrate. She has a banrate of 37.5. People just don't want to play against her.

So what do I think should be done? Hard CC reveals for the duration of the CC. Stuns, Suppressions Knockups, Forced action (Charms, Fears, etc).

The 2 sources I use show ridiculously high banrates with low winrates. So unless akali is some secret OP (Which I don't really believe is the case.) She is being banned cause people just dont wanna deal with that shit.
