Its just funny how i remember like 5 months ago everyone was going bonkers over tank meta being so slow and "unfun". Now riot does what y'all want and now everyone misses tank meta. smh
Hemulen Magi4 votesYour memory is inaccurate, because the "tank meta" was actually mostly full of people arguing that it wasn't even a true "tank meta" and that it was simply the various roles being reasonably balanced at last. The top threads (most upvotes) during the so-called "tank meta" were arguing how the "tank meta" was the best balanced meta in the last 2 seasons. The complaint threads were stuff like "how long will it be until you get tired of tank meta?", which reflects that people were enjoying the "tank meta". Ironically, people never got tired of the tank meta up until the point that it was removed, so people are still nostalgic of it.
Idiots arguing that tanks were overrunning the game, making up crap like "tank adcs" that never actually happened, were actually downvoted to oblivion.

As you can see, the majority of the playerbase was in fact happy with the "tank meta". This is not rose-tinted glasses. People really were more satisfied with balance.

It wouldn't make sense if he were referring to anything else. I would hope you'd know how to look for context clues if you're old enough to play league.
