My Opinion on New Ryze

So I've played roughly 12 or so Ryze games and here are my opinions of him so far, He definitely has a lot of solo potential; however, I think his ult having such a short range initially gimps him pretty hard, as his level 6, at rank one, in comparison to every other mid in the game, sucks. And his solo kill pressure in lane is already rather low, not tf level low, but like ziggs level low where you are more about zoning and csing, rather than killing your target.

I don't understand why they decided to give q 6 points and his ult only two, because if they gave him three points in ult, they could spread out the range better. I can kind of see why they don't want to give his ult so much range initially as you can gank your enemy pretty hard w/ your jungler ,if you coordinate properly, early on and snowball the game, but his level 6 is just too weak and too not threatening. That's part of the reason as to why I believe his win rate is so low is because by the time he is able to use his ult well , which would be lvl 11, the lanes have already either been lost or won.

The rest of his kit I think is fine. His teamfight is meh, because in order to access the bulk of his aoe damage you have to e, wait another 1.7s, and then again and then hope your spell flux reached some squishies. His burst in teamfights isnt as epic as it used to be, it's a little more drawn out and usually happens as a result of clumping.

Overall, he is fine, just needs a few adjustments here and there.
