Limited Champion pool.
Enforced rune selections.
Enforced Summoner Spell selection.
The whole experience seems tailored to provide a fraction of the URF experience in a manner that makes the experience become stale quite quickly.
I suggest not giving away too much free power, such as automatically giving everyone 80% CDR. Why not just make the CDR Cap 80% and double the CDR recieved from all sources? This would make CDR benefits from all sources worth managing (the way all Attack Speed bonuses appear to be doubled from all sources.)
How Tryndamere's King Tryndamere skin is considered a snow-theme skinned raises another point for me. Granted, not everyone has a snow-themed skin, but I would hardly call "King Tryndamere" snow-themed as much as I would call it Slavic Medieval themed. Why not allow others who seemed dressed for the cold conditions parttake in the fun too?
Or is it because of the balance issue? If not, it makes no sense why Legend of the Poro King did not have the same limitations to the champion pool (unless you consider that we are able to Choose champions in that mode, in which case the arguement about limiting champion pools in URF is due to balance issues bringing the idea of this thread further into the light).
URF needs a rework or really needs to be seldom: making cameo appearances for events like this.
