What are some plays/info about "braindead/simple"champions that require experience?

When I say "braindead", I really just mean basic champions. Champions who aren't flashy, easily clarified, etc.

Heres a few examples of plays I learned after a bit of experience:\

As Darius, get the enemy to 4 stacks, then back off a bit. That usually prompts the enemy to walk forward a bit. Charge up Q, then flash right before the spin. Hit them with the blade, and they are suddenly in a critical situation

Darius can animation cancel, surprisingly. Just press Q fast after using W to get rid of the W animation.

If W kills something, mana is refunded as well as half cd.

You can interrupt so many dashes with Darius' Pull. Some dashes include J4 EQ, Kha jump, Trist jump, urgot E, quinn e, riven 3rd Q, etc

You can flash during the windup of illaoi's ult. As such, you can E, then R in place, then flash into the enemy team for a 5 man ult usually

Illaoi's W is a weird dash/auto attack. In melee range, it counts as an auto, yet with range it counts as a skill. For example, say teemo blinds illaoi. If she uses W melee range, itll be dodged, yet if she uses it at range, the damage will connect.

Illaoi's Q and E root herself when winding up. This is excellent when dealing with cc that moves you, such as taunt or charms.

Illaoi's ult is unstoppable, with death the only thing stopping it. That means you can ult to avoid knockups, charms, and even morde's ult (if timed well). However, cc with lingering effects, such as a taunt, root, charm, slow, will stay after you cast the ult.

Sion can activate item actives while in his passive. As such, one of my favorite things to do as sion in aram is to go Sion 2.0, and capitalize on this by building Youmoos, frozen mallet, righteous glory, etc.

In aram, Lissandra can mark someone, throw her E behind her, dash to the enemy, and she has half a second to use a spell on them. Since her w coming out frame 1 and her ult being able to lock on, she can recast her E after doing so and teleport back to her claw.

Enlighten me about your lowtier champions, tell me stuff about them.

Lux probably belongs in the list of "easy to play hard to master" champs:

Things I like to do with her:

  • Throwing a q (binding) on my lane opponent through the last wave minion standing. It's a known trick to surprise your enemy but I don't see it happen very often when playing against other Lux`s.

  • Work with your turret:

    • I use Barrier baits to make my enemies dive meand get killed by barrier+q in 80% of laning phases

    • you can Flash under turret while Zed r`s you and bind him right after

  • The correct combo for trades is: q > w > e > auto > Pop e > auto (quite easy but still many people don't utilize the passive proc to the fullest)

Overall: Lux is just an hidden OP champ untill you reach dia imo

On Illaoi's tenticles, so many people annoy in in ARAM when they get hit her E, they back off, let the tentacle spawn and slam once then proceed to kill it. Another one just spawns and slams again. Just let the first one slam, wait by it until the E effect ends then kill it, only 1 can spawn by any given wall.

With MasterYi you can use your Q to dodge just about anything, and if timed correctly it will follow an enemy champion during their dash/flash. Another trick you can do with your Q is if you're running from someone thru the jungle, ward over a jungle camp and Q to the monsters to act as a quasi-flash over the wall.

Also his W has a damage reduction component. So say you tower dive a low hp enemy for a kill, when you are running away from the tower, once you get out of tower range, you can briefly activate your W to reduce some of the damage from the last turret shot and potentially save yourself from a death.
