You are correct you can't lifesteal or crit off that damage.

Not entirely true, Gunblade works with it. If it's phys damage Death's Dance will too

It works on all physical damage dealt. Doesn't apply to magic damage, be it by on hits or abilities.

No it states that 20% of all the damage YOU take get converted into a 3 second doT. Meaning you can't get bursted as easy and since it has lifesteal it gives you a chance to lifesteal it up before the 3 second doT kills you if you're really low on health. That's why is categorized under defensive item.

It doesn't have lifesteal. It converts 12% of the physical damage you deal into health. Lifesteal has different, more complicated mechanics.

No you can NOT of the extra damage the fever masteries provides. I'm telling you. Google it if you don't believe me. I remember even reading from a rioter comment saying you can't.

its not 80 AD, its 80 on hit damage that is physical. this m eans it cant crit or LS.

the reason item 3146 works is because its passive works with ALL types of damage. it heals off of damage dealt where as LS works only with AA or spell vamp works only with spells.

item 3812 is the same, but only for physical damage. and fervor is physical damage.

A lot of physical on-hit damage does apply lifesteal though. For example:

Caitlyn's Headshot
Draven's Spinning Axes
Spellblade (Sheen, Trinity Force, IBG but not Lichbane or Runeglaive --the latter two deal magic dmg and won't apply lifesteal)
