Playing Kat support in norms for fun

Queue the ever elusive passive aggressive threat of reports because I don't conform to the meta. "Enjoy the ban for trolling."

I play Kat Sup in ranked sometimes at a low elo (Low-Mid) silver and I find it's usually pretty good as a kill lane and does result in your ADC and usually the Kat also becoming very fed. It's most likely the most fun lane to play in LoL as it's pretty exciting.

Once she hits level 3 her passive allows her to have the same playstyle as Mid but instead of damaging one opponent she's cleaving both the ADC and SUP at the same time. Generally one good jump where you use all your daggers is enough to bring them both close to death so your adc can finish them off and she can easily zone the enemy team from getting cs if deaths don't occur but they have damage on them. She has an easy disengage and generally attracts the full attention of the enemies so she can buy the adc some free damage time before shumpo out. Lastly her damage is bursty and front loaded and not quite enough to 1 shot so the adc can pretty reliably clean up all the kills.

The main risk is a very responsive cc support that is fast enough to catch you the moment you go in but she can generally get out from one cc and still do her damage. You have to roam after lane and get yourself snowballed also or you'll offer very little for your team once laning phase ends if the game goes on long.

While it's a lot of fun and can do well in my elo my team mates throw the games more often then it can reliably win. For me it results in a lot of afk, inting, arguments, int feeding the moment the game starts and the ADC is usually very cranky, plus the entire game is always entirely your fault in the eyes of your team if you choose this path.
