Why is Ahri's Q movement speed not being addressed?

I understand the need for the sustain nerfs. But this barely hit the problems with Ahri right now. I just want to know why her Q is allowed to be such an insane movement speed buff. This needs to be toned down if it is to be kept in her Kit, arguably the dfg "compensation" wasn't that much needed and the Q buff just gave her almost no weaknesses. I also think her Mana costs are a bit too low but nerfing the movement speed on her Q is my main concern.

Wait for the Ahri "mains" to pop in and tell you why she needs that Movement Speed.

It is balanced by the fact her Q is too hard to hit twice if target is not charmed, and charm is also hard to hit unless you are close to enemy. So you either Q, run to enemy(possibly missing Q both times), charm and W, or you E-Q-W with high chance of missing E. And her damage is lower than damage of most assassins, while her ranges are shorter than ranges of most mages

I agree, her Q should slow her. Make it so charm only has utility no damage. W be removed. Q damage removed. Casting ult kills her

Your "insane movement speed buff" only gets her about 200 more distance than walking. Try it in game yourself. You can line up Ahri with minions (330 to 325 ms) and fire her q behind her. Run forward, and you'll cover about the gap between two minions. Much mobility so safe many wow.

These are all entirely different movement abilities. Not including her dashes Ahri is VERY hard to catch with this movement buff, it is short term but massively strong making sure you'll be a big distance away from someone like Shyvana or Udyr and their movement speed buffs.

Yeah, 200 units is truly an enormous distance. Assuming they aren't using their own movespeed buffs of course, then they'll stay right with you.

I know what makes it powerful. Its item 3285 combined with it. Something most of the people whining about Ahri's winrate don't know is that her winrate was 52% after the changes. It was only after was introduced that it went to ~53%. It went up further after the AP item changes, when Luden's got even faster. I don't put much stock in winrate, but it is true Luden's is an exceptionally well fitting item on her. When you combine their movespeed buffs, its something. But the synergy she gets is something she pays for in gold. It's very easy to prove the speed on her q is nothing special at all... as I said, go try it in a game.

Combine that with her other escape abilities and there is no gap where she can be even touched. Beside its spammable and deals insance ammount of true damage. Ahri is bullshit

I believe they intended for her to be less reliant on her ultimate when she was kiting opponents. For the record, though, I think she needs small amounts of work aswell.

They think it's balanced. One of the highest pick and win rates but who cares she sells skins and looks good to idiots who stumble upon an LCS stream to attract new players. Why would they nerf her when they churn out an Ahri skin every month.
