Basically every single nemesis draft game is a team of tanks and supports versus a team of tanks and supports..... this game mode is just painful to play......

I think it's fun and balanced. Everyone is equipped with the same wet noodle so you're all on equal footing.

My gripe isn't really about equality and inequality, it's more just the whole "no focus, no one does damage, no one dies" aspect of the current common picks that I find annoying. Sure you'll all die just as slowly, but that's the problem.... just as slowly lol

They gave me Evelyn. I've never used Evelyn, but I was stomping face. We were 4v5 (our yorick AFKd) and we had 50 kills more than the enemy. But they were all stun, so they could rout us and stop us from taking objectives rather easily.

My team lost, but it was a very fun match. I wound up top solo against the Shyvana I had given and a Janna. I was 5-0-0 in the first 10 minutes because they didn't know the ropes with those champs and didn't know how to synergize. However, I didn't have the pushing power to take them down simultaneously and get to their tower. So even though I wasn't dying, and they were, my towers fell and theirs didn't.

My point after saying all that is that the nonmeta, not-what-you-know-how-to-play picks make the game more interesting because even though I was doing well on the scoreboard, I wasn't doing well on objectives. I learned a lot that match. and my team was in good spirits throughout the game even without Yorick.

I'm still not talking about meta either or playing new champs or anything.

I love playing non-meta in normals with friends and I've played every champ in the game that I actually want to play, which is most of them, and being forced onto another one I don't want to play or have played and didn't like won't make it anymore fun.

But once again that still isn't my point, every single match has been tanks slapping tanks with supports poking at them then running away when neither can kill the other. I've gotten nautilus, zac, rammus, shyvanna, and thresh, I enjoy playing all of those champs, didn't make this god awful game mode any less boring though.

We just have different definitions of fun. Which is fine. The game mode is optional. No one is making you play it. So if you hate it, don't play it. People will go on choosing champions for their opponents that are "ineffective." (read: cannot 100-0 you in 2 seconds)

The trouble occurs when someone is given one of those heavy hitting (100-0) champs and the other team has nothing to answer with. But, then again, if you play smart your team can still handle that situation. Veigar had over 700 AP in our game and was dropping my team like flies so we strategized, built to counter, baited, and took him out of the fight before he could trash us.

Already stopped playing it, have just been reiterating myself cause you seem extremely intent on changing my mind lol

And I main tanks, so killing someone 100-0 is never something I need to feel effective.

But a Nautilus and a Maokai beating on each other in mid lane while a Sona and Soraka sit behind them keeping them alive and poking with next to no damage is incredibly boring after you've done it multiple times lol

If you find that fun then go ahead, I'm just saying THAT is the reason I find nemesis so boring.

A full AP Sona or Soraka still can't really do any damage to a Rammus or Zac, who in the end will probably kill the supports first as well.

Would help keep it from falling into it's current awful state, for sure, but would also get kind of boring a lot quicker, having only certain choices per person.

I might still enjoy it more then the current one though lol

Do you mean fun? I've been having a blast with people giving me champs that they deem "bad" then stomping on their faces. Someone gave me Amumu like what? At least give me a high skill cap champion that I can't use properly. x'D

If someone voluntarily gave you Amumu then they're simply awful lol Every match I've been in on my friends account has been like Nami, Zac, Sona, Taric, and Nunu.

I mean yeah the enemy team gave me Nautilus once, and I freakin love Naut, but it was still a hodge podge of tanks slapping tanks and chasing after supports unable to kill us but we can't kill fast enough either so they always run away with their heals and cc.

Every match has just been sooooo long and largely uneventful.

Yeah, it might have something to do with the fact I was usually the last person in the picking queue so they'd run out of champs to "safely" give me. I almost got TF but I think one of their teammates bailed on purpose so that it wouldn't go through. :s
