Sad that low elo ranked is hell, was really hoping to hit silver by the middle of August.

Title.

I was hoping to hit Silver after going on a losing streak in May-June from trolls and terrible teams. I had went from Bronze 1 all the way to Bronze 4, and am struggling to climb back up. Most of the games I win, I am met with 15-16 LP gain, but the ones I lost are greeted with 19-20 LP loss. Yes, I understand all of the lower and higher elo implications, but it shouldn't be LP Lost>LP Won. Higher elos have much better queues and have a much better community, due to the higher skill and smaller amount of feeders, trolls, AFKers, etc. I'll just have to grind from Bronze 3 (Current Rank) to my goal this year, High Gold or Low Plat.

*EDIT: I was a former Silver 3 in Season 5 before I got banned for account sharing. I realized my mistake and took a break until pre season 6. I'll probably be making a new account so I can actually play this game enjoyably.

if you lose more LP than you gain, that means Riot (the game) thinks you belong in a lower elo than you currently are, thus making it harder for you to climb

I am aware of that. I have known of the problem for quite a while and I have no idea how to manipulate the queue into your favor apart from 5 queueing (something I rarely do due to time and player constraints).

One might think that.

Sadly, there isn't really a link between player's skill and their toxicity; you'll still run into plenty of trolls, AFKs and feeders in Platinum and Diamond.

I think the Gold 1 - Platinum 5 area was the most toxic MMR range I've experienced.

When was your Gold 1- Plat 5 period?

Last season, I think it was around November (going from Gold 4 to Platinum 5).

This season, I think I played the majority of my ranked games in May or June (going from Gold 2 to Platinum 5).

Both times, the games were more toxic than I had encountered at any other rank or in normal queue.

Riot made it easier to climb premade so why don't you just abuse that? I mean everyone else does .. Well.. Almost everyone.. There are afterall.. Oddballs like me whom like a masochist just keep the pain of solo que coming :x

Queueing premade is not always possible for someone who has limited time to play League.
