Tank Yas is trolll? Think Again

His initiation is much better because he won't get completely one shot when he ults, and even without full AS or Crit, he is still very high damage. The only problem is that he is garbage early game, but when mid and late game hit, you can start initiating and racking up kills easily.

Note: I'm not playing ranked in this game due to the many problems Yasuo can have as a tank in certain matchups. I just wanted a game that I would just pick up and quickly play, no questions asked. I might play a ranked with him soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Frozen Force :D

Honestly tho, this is probably the new Tri Force's fault.

I mean, it's (Forzen Force) ArKaData's go to top build on him (I think he called it his signature build in the collab video he did with Redmercy a few weeks ago, can't be sure, goddamn his accent is strong). And a few days ago I saw a KR Master player also go no crit tank Yasuo top, he faired well at a 9/3/9. The Frozen Force build adds to his already ridiculous stickiness, while it also gives him tankiness so he can initiate, and if he takes Fervor, he still deals a respectable amount of damage. Still going to have to rely on the rest of your teammates (particularly the carries) for actual damage though.

Personally, I'm starting to skip IE more and more. Tanky items help him live more, and a few possible items also give offensive stats. 60% Crit just seems fine for me.

You had an okay amount of damage from the two damage items and a shit ton of health. If you threw an infinity edge and a static shiv, it would be a very powerful build. But if you miss those two items in liue you would be falling off really quick later in the game.

Using ArKaData's words, the reason no crit is included is because there's barely any AD to multiply in the build, so you make the best of the stat you will get the most, health. Most of the damage comes from your base damage, Sheen procs, Sunfire Cape, and whichever keystone you take (Fervor or GotUD). He does also state that you're going to have to rely on the carries to do most of the damage with this build. This build is played differently than traditional built-for-damage Yasuo; you actually have to initiate for your team instead of lying on the outskirts waiting for a chance to jump in (no counter-initiate tho). It also makes use of his hidden passive which makes everyone on the enemy team want to kill him on sight kappa.

Using my own logic and words which seems to be more appropriate than this idiot you quote,

Since yasuos passive doubles crit %, you only need infinity edge to greatly increase your damage. Nearly 1/2 hits will be crit. The current bonus damage is about 75, infinity edge adds 70, You have 140 bonus damage to your already tanky build. Unlike other tanks yasuo has very little cc. So his engage is not as efficient.

Back to the damage, when you do these crit strikes, youll have your base damage which I think scales somewhere around 100. Thats 240 damage doubled to 480~ 500. Then the additional infinity edge passive, 750 AD is alot of ad for a basic attack while retaining the tank.

Makes sense to include the infinity edge item in the build.

so you claim to know better than a challenger yasuo main on EU with over 1 million mastery on him? lol that's funny

anyway infinity edge alone on yasuo is a retarded idea. the whole point of this build is to be extremely tanky while NOT relying on crit to do damage because that would sacrifice a lot of tankiness.

You mean some random video gamer dude who has been playing this game for years and has a below average intelligence in real life?

Yes I do know more than him in this scenario. Infinity edge alone is a retarded Idea. LOL, if one item sacrifices your "tankyness" dont build boots then.

I already explained the math above and I wont explain it again. If you cant comprehend that theres no point in talking to you.

i think you should seek help in real life.

his Q already only has 175% crit scaling and his regular basic attacks have 190% crit scaling. i think you're the real idiot here, and not me as you imply me to be. lol seek help dude, your ego is too much.

and his basic attacks deal a shit ton of damage, like I explained mathematically. The numbers I described remain consistent. You clearly dont know what youre talking about.

Makes sense, I've always preferred the tanky yasuo builds, and have played him that why a fair amount in seasons past. I just wonder why not get a titanic or a pd? Both give some dmg and dueling power/defense ..

PulsarPollo1 votes

Eh, I guess you can fit a Titanic in there. I'd probably substitute the Sterak's Gage for the titanic. Point Well made.

I don't think anyone denied tank Yas works or not. It's just a stupid or whatever because this is clearly not the results Riot intended like the Tank Ekko and how that turned out.
