So why has there been no info on the anti-shield items

Before the pre-season it was talked about anti-shield items because the meta just always seems to hop back onto the 20 thousand shields side at some point. Yet we really haven't had any word on it. Just because it isn't meta right now doesn't mean riot shouldn't be implementing an item or changing abilities so they can bypass shields. If the only reason they can't do it is because of tahm Kench and his W just change it to something else but same generic effect, its a lousy excuse to not be doing this.

I'm not raging about shields or complaining about them, they have their ups and downs like any other thing used in league but this really is a subject that needs to be addressed before its a problem again.
