DrCyanide2 votesThe burn damage is the same on Ezreal as it is on any other champion of equal level, but the slow is halved for Ezreal because he's ranged. Combine that with you having Iceborn Gauntlet, you can't utilize the slow. A decision to not give you Red Buff could easily have been one of giving the team the most utility possible.

If your ADC is carrying hard and has a much larger impact on the game than yourself then I freely give red buff, I even tank it for them. Same for mid lane and blue. However if it's equal or I'm ahead then it's mine, the buffs are nice but it's also a source of gold worth more than 2 cannon minions and XP. Laners throw a tantrum if I take a lane minion so why wouldn't I want MY XP and GOLD SOURCE?!
Also you said the Shyv was 0-6, what was her assist #? If it's 0-6 and the number of kills YOU have or even more then it sounds like she did the diving and sacrificing while the carries cleaned up and that 0-6 doesn't look so bad any more. Getting the killing blow means nothing except epeen stroking rights.

Assists matter because it denotes kill presence and participation. If I'm 0/15/30 and you are 10/5/0, I was responsible for and had a hand in 15 more kills than my deaths. You only had a hand in 5 more kills than your own deaths.
At that point, despite not having a single kill under my belt and having 10 more deaths than you, I was more useful to the team's efforts and gold income advantage than you were. In fact, in total, I saw to it that 3 times as many enemies died than you did.

Only recent Ez game I am seeing is your 5/12 loss. I don't even see a recent game on your OP.GG with Shyvana in it. But that champion absolutely needs Red until she has boots+randuins or mallet. Even then, her large AS and the fact that she synchs well with on hit make it great on her in general.
Link the game, then we will talk. But right now jungle is the strongest carry role, not ADC.
