so i heard ekko is getting massive nerfs in patch 5.15.I would just like to here you from anyone whose played him in the pbe or just any opinions on wether he would still be viable after the nerfs.I dont think hes damaged is going to be nerfed ( correct me if im wrong ) so he might still be viable as an assasin and mid laner :D ,i hope :( and at least we got better ap scaling :D

That's the changes to him that are listed on Surrender at 20. Bit of a nerf to his passive's slow and move speed buff, an increase to his shield's scaling and a reduction to the base, and his ult's base heal doesn't scale with rank anymore, but they doubled the heal's ratio.

It should be good for him as long as you buy items that have AP :) He'll be a lot stronger if you buy a lot of AP than he is now.

Only Play Darius1 votesHe's getting nerfs to his bases but buffs to his scalings. This way people actually build him as an AP assassin/fighter instead of abusing him as full tank. I wish they would do the same to 
Hard4Hamsters1 votesThey want to push him out of the jungle as a tank and into lanes as an AP assassin. I don't know if it will work, but we'll see. It should be a buff to his laning as he will be building a lot of AP, maybe Runeglaive Jungle Ekko would be viable too, but his Cinderhulk/CDR build is getting nerfed here.

Hard4Hamsters1 votesHe might be somewhat affected. I don't know exactly what the AP breakpoint is where his W will give him a higher shield than it was before at level 1. It should be a little weaker early game, but mid-lategame after building some AP it should become stronger.

these "nerfs" imo make sense. they aren't nerfs if you build him right. ekko was mean as ap assassin a true ap scaling champs. there are plenty of ap champs that can be played off tank and do alright with soso ap this should help solidify him into an ap role.
ekko is one of those champs who you really ought to get deathcap with, yet so few do. Or at least a decent dose of ap; particularly with on hit effect likes lichbane and ludens.
they might have overshot it a bit but we'll see.
