I'm sorry for any grammar in this post

I loved Skarner for a long time I may have only got to play him just a little bit before all the changes #RyzeSyndrome #I'mViable! But like ryze you guys really just need sit down and fix the two. Enough ranting but so far from what I see Skarner as a kidnapping tank forcept he has hard time kidnapping RN it's not as bad if you run predator, might get replaced with grasp with the changes coming. But from my thoughts so far has no gap closers, his ganks are pretty trash. If the lane is pushed you pretty much can't do any thing, can't really tower dive. But hear is an example.

Remove crystal pillars add crystalline poison damaging attacks apply a percent current health bleed stacking up to 2 early and 5 late game. Second effect is Skarner heals from targets he attacks that have crystalline poison applied to them, heal based on stacks Lvls (6,11,16)

(Q) Crystal slash- similar stacking effect Skarner (4 stacks total) first Q does base AD after hitting a creature adds AP percent health damage scaling with armor and magic resist each stack of AP damage applies a slow (20,30,40)

(W) Crystalline exoskeleton- (remove movespeed) Skarner gain a shield scaling in health. New effect Skarner sends damage back from ability caused damage(not autos) scaling armor and magic resist( damage reflect dependant on damage type and resistants as Skarner will only reflect AP damage dependant on magic resist and ad ability damage on armor)( meaning Skarner can't just build armor and be tank vs mages) Recast- (crystalline burial) if Skarner is sitting on 80% (80,75,70,60,50) of his shield left he can consume his shield to scorch the ground and dig underneath the ground moving forward and is immune to damage and cc when popping out if the ground it will slow nearby enemy's the width of the slow scales on armor and magic resist.

(E) Fracture (removed) Added- (impale) (Removed suppression) add- snare (you can attack back)(example if a Katerina ults if she is moved her ultie will still be going) Effect- Skarner can not recast Crystalline exoskeleton, if Skarner is hit by stuns or knockups while moving the target the cc is broke if Skarner sits still the cc length is increased by 1.5

(R) "New" Crystalline obduction- Skarner announces him self, rooting himself and becomes cc immune.Skarner goes into a jhin/xerath style ult, gaining vision on his area grab length, after 2s Skarner can then fire his stinger (goes threw minions, monsters,epic monsters, and a Max of 2 champions) after hitting a champion they a stunned until either Skarner recast his ability, hits another champion,or his grab reaches Max length. Once Skarner starts pulling a champion they are suppressed until they reach Skarner. Skarner then becomes exhausted and can not move, use abilitys, or attack for 3>2>1 seconds

This is just a example of the possiblity of what Skarner could do I liked the WW and galio reworks just wanting something be done I just feel like he's a ignored champion since you failed the last 3 or 4 times. just because you blame the character design that you can't do much with him and i kinda take it as a insult
