Is anyone having a hard time with this up date as Talon or is it just me? I literally got out dueled by a AD Kog.i have no idea what items to by besides Ghost blade Black clever And Deaths dance and maybe Mercurial schemitar and Qick silver sash against ap

I've seen awesome talons and really bad ones. Must be the builds. Essence Reaver crit talon seems to be the most effective.

Ok stop stop I play talon a lot. All you need to do is rush your taimat and keep roaming bot to get fed. your end game items will look something like this. item 3117 item 3074 item 3142 item 3031 item 3033 item 3026 What this is going to do is give you huge amounts of burst and crit and with the actives of both hydra and youmuus you can really ramp up.

Is rushing tiamat even good anymore? I always sat on it and built other stuff, and finished Hydra later, but without the waveclear I'm not sure if I want it anymore. Sure, the active is good for the burst, but being able to push out wave and then roam was what I liked

It is its very cost effective and the extra dmg from active helps the burst :)

Trinity Force is really really good, I would recommend leaving BC out and replacing it with TF. Full build something like this: item 3158 item 3078 item 3074 item 3142 and two of those item 3036 item 3033 item 3139 item 3156 item 3026 item 3812

If you wanna go Crit Talon: item 3508 item 3031 item 3078 item 3142 item 3036 item 3111

Talon's not in a great spot. Removing brutalizer hurt him more than any other champ in the game. Basically, his early game is even shittier and it takes much longer to get to his mid game atm.

I'm a Talon main, and I can tell you the only thing that COULD'VE hurt Talon was the hydra cost increase. To get around that, don't go for hydra. Get an IE instead. also if you have issues getting out of fights after engaging switch your mobi boots for swiftness and you won't be slowed to a crippling pace in the middle of their team. The youmu buff outweighed the removal of Bruta completely. Rush the full item and then get whatever you lack after that. Roam a ton for kills. I hardly buy the new last whisper by the way because it is far less effective this patch unless they have massive armor. And if you have trouble surviving pre-6 you should be starting corrupting potion. good luck talons

I'm also having a decently hard time with Talon, but I usually don't duel the adc's and usually just dive onto them.

Situational Items are QSS if they got some cc or hexdrinker if you're against an ap champion that's ahead. Death's dance is also good if you want more sustain but I don't usually go for it since I have hydra

My build path is: Tiamat rush, if they have a lot of harass then I'll rush hydra so I can sustain. After that I almost ALWAYS go ghostblade, next you can finish up qss into mercurial or go black cleaver. Sometimes if they have a lot of tanks, I usually build Dominik's or Mortal Reminder. As for defensive items you can go Maw or GA. Boots vary from lucidity, mobi, mercs, and tabi
