Theme and appealing to old and new players of a champion are big concepts to keep in mind when reworking a champion. After some thought, I have devised a set of abilities to keep Taric feeling like the armor king of bot lane and adding versatility and more utility to the champion.

Overlook/Explanation: Ability to max was something I was always enjoying about Taric. Could spam heal, get stun duration, or max armor on w out. The choice is still here. With Q, you get big shields, W you get longer stun duration, and E you get a better slow to help you land your stuns. The choices will be fabulous.

Passive: Reworked. The cooldown reduction of abilities is kept, however, the second portion of the passive has been changed to help taric's lack of mobility ever so slightly.

Q: Completely rehauled. Thematically, Taric uses his gems for armor and being fabulous. Healing does not fit into the concept of a tankier cc-like support when looking at most other supports as well. Using his gems to grant a shield feels more thematic as well.

W: Reworked to synergize with E pre-6 in lane but to keep the armor shred of good ol' Taric. Aura moved to ultimate.

E: Changes to work with other abilities and create versatility in laning with Taric. Point & Click single stun gets rather boring. Rewards good tanking with small self shield.

R: Changes to work with E and force some thought into Taric's teamfighting and cooldown management. Passive added to help carries not get shredded by resistance lowering abilities while near Taric.

Abilities: Passive: Intuition: After using an ability, Taric's next basic attack reduces the cooldown of this passive and Taric's other spells by 1 second. If any of Taric's abilities affect more than 1 enemy champion, Taric gains a 25% movement speed boost for 1 second. Cooldown: 12 Seconds

Q: Encase: Point & Click: Creates a barrier of hard cased gems to protect an ally for 4 seconds. The ally is granted a shield for 50/75/100/125/150 (+ [undetermined] % Taric's armor). **Range: 750 Units - Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds **

W: Shatter: Skillshot: Taric blasts a gem out from his arm that reduces the armor of the first unit hit by ([undetermined amount]) and deals 40/80/120/160/200 (+ [undetermined] % Taric's armor) magic damage. If the unit has Bonebreak applied, they are stunned for .7/.85/1/1.15/1.3 seconds. Range: 650 Units - Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 Seconds

E: Dazzle: Skillshot: Taric lobs his hammer to a target location and it smashes into the ground, slowing enemies in the radius by 20/25/30/35/40% for .6/.7/.8/.9/1 second(s) and dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+.3 AP) magic damage to targets struck. Units hit are given Bonebreak for 4 seconds. Taric's hammer remains there for 4 seconds before going on cooldown and automatically returning to him. Taric is granted a shield equal to his armor for 2 seconds if he steps in the radius of the hammer. **Range: 600 Units - Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 Seconds - Radius: 125 **

R: Radiance: Passive: While Radiance is not on cooldown, Taric and his allies get 20/30/40 bonus armor when within 800 units of him. Also, abilities and attacks the reduce armor/magic resist of allies whose max HP are lower than Taric's max HP are negated (the resistance reduction, not the damage itself of say black cleaver auto attacks or fiddle's abilities, but it would negate his passive).

Active: Skillshot: Taric slams his hammer into the ground, spiking gems up into an area and deals 80/120/160 (+.3 AP) magic damage. Enemies who are marked with Bonebreak are stunned for 1/1.25/1.5 seconds and lose 20/30/40 armor. **Range: 850 Units - Cooldown: 80/75/70 Seconds - Radius: 125 (for the circle at the end of the skillshot) ** The ultimate's AOE would look like that of Illaio's Q but with an aoe circle at the end of the size of swain's W. I hope you can imagine that. (:

Thank you very much for taking the time to view my post. I put quite the amount of thought into this. Edits will be made and suggestions are appreciated. Happy Taric 'ing!

1: Forgot to add poll. Comment your thoughts on whether or not this idea would be fun for players, thematically correct, and make taric more thought-provoking to play. 2: 3:
