Death Timers Won't Be Fixed In Patch 6.7

By lowering the death timers at all Riot acknowledges that they're too long, but they only shortened them in the 30-55 minute range. That doesn't changed the fact that if you die even once before 10 minutes that your lane opponent will most likely have a 2 level lead on you and make it impossible to fight them, or that if you die even once after 10 minutes you'll probably lose your tower even if it's full health and you have summoner 12.

No one thought that death timers were too long in season 5. The only reason they were made so long was to try and make games shorter, and it only made games an average of 3 minutes shorter or some shit like that, unless you count the increased number of surrenders, which in that case Riot did shorten the game length considerably, but if Riot considers that a success then fuck that.

The average game length may have been too long, but trying to fix that by fucking around with something so important to game health like death timers is just dumb.

Game length was a problem, death timers weren't a problem. Riot tried to fix game length with longer death timers, and the only thing that happened is games are barely any shorter, and death timers are a massive problem.

Riot tried to fix a problem(game length) by changing something that wasn't a problem(death timers). If something is fine the way it is and not a problem, then the only thing that will happen by changing it is making it a problem. In short, if it's not broken don't fix it.

Riot has acknowledged that death timers are too long at some points by shortening them, but just shortening them at some points won't fix the problem.

Riot is trying to keep the failed death timer changes implemented, and only shortening them during 30-55 minutes. Riot is just band-aiding the problem, when they should just revert them to the way they were in season 5.

We have to let Riot know we want death timers fixed at all points in the game, not just during 30-55 minutes, upvote if you agree.

TL;DR The only way to fix death timers is to make them the same as they were in season 5. How do I know? Were death timers a problem at all in season 5? No they weren't. My logic is impeccable.

yea, this fixes nothing.

people are avoiding teamfights right now, because they dont want to risk losing the game off one teamfight at 20 to 25 minutes. death timers after 30 minutes werent the problem. death timers at all stages of the game, were. and the ones early on actually more than lategame.

they know the average game times went down to 30 minutes. they said so themselves. so decreasing them after games have been decided before this mark, honestly this change feels like a slap in the face. like "we make it look like we did something about the issue, but in reality were sticking with the changes". even when these changes are terrible and the majority simply doesnt like them.

iv seen most of the community on the boards agree, that the death timers need to be reversed to the state of season 5.

Agreed 100% fixed the problem between 30-50 mins LOL how often are games go to the 50 min mark anymore most games are decided in the first 10-20 mins in the mortal kombat meta. XD but Riot are scratching their heads trying to think of ways to fix their mistakes.
