So season 5 really wasn't nice to Rabadon's Deathcap

I get it that deathcap has more to work with when taken late in the game. So it makes sense for it to only be particularly efficient built then. But in game, in practice, that design doesn't lend to much decision making. And it makes you wonder why rabadon's even exists and why is it such a slog to save for sometimes.

I still think rabadon's is important though. For two reasons. One: it's a good lever to signify that a mage is ready for late game. And in theory it can be a good support item for utility mids or even backline utility supports. And number two it limits what mages can build, which is good so that mages are choosing which items to build rather than just what not to build if you get what I mean.

All I'm saying is Deathcap could use a small boost in ap to butt heads with other ap items sooner and become a choice.

I don't think I've built dcap before 4th item in years. 90% of the time void staff comes in priority of it and 95% of the time some mana/cdr item. And a lot of the time some overpowered defense item (ancient zhonyas. or old rylias. and how about banshees of today?)

If dcap was relevant earlier it would present an opportunity cost to some of the bullshit items mages are usually hording these days. It would present more options.

It just needs a cost reduction to 3600 or something.

Soo.. What is wrong with that? I think Rabadons is just THE late game item in league so it makes sense that you wouldn't build it earlier.
