I hate Doombots Guantlet Know-It-All Players
More of a rant cause I'm just tired of this.
I honestly don't care if you pick a "bad" champion in Doombots Guantlet. What I do care about is people being an ass for no apparent reason than because they want to win.
Teammate picked Mundo and Tahm. "Why even take tanks, they are useless here." Ok, not great picks, but we have Anivia and Kog, so as long as the tanks let us waveclear and only engage vs the Teemo, that should be fine. Loss. Teammate picks Jhin. "Oh look, another useless Jhin." He has a fricken execute on his fourth shot. That's not exactly useless. Not as great as another pick, but not useless. And again, we have Kog and Anivia. Win. Teammate picks Signed. "Ugh, melee champs are useless here." Umm, Signed is great here if he knows how to kite the bots around (which he did), the Liandry/Rylia's in his poison is perfect for slowly chipping them away, and you don't have to worry about fighting the bots while they chase Singed. Loss.
Worst yet was one game where this mage literally did nothing but complain as if he was carrying.
Game starts with me as Anivia where my duo toplaner was a mana hungry mage and our mid was a mana hungry mage. So, I pinged our top laner and then pinged blue, figuring between the 3 of us each with smite we can take it easily, get him to level 2, and he'd have mana to help us survive until I get to 6 and can insta wave clear. He says "noobs" and stays top. Midlaner comes over so again, I ping him and then ping the buff, like I'd do if I was jungler to say "this is your buff". Of course, he leaves it for me, which is nice, but a level 2 Anivia doesn't really want blue as much as these two would've.
Fastforward a bit and the enemy Udyr in our lane starts spawning buff camps. I'm only level 5 so I figure I'd let the other guy take it cause he's still a mana hungry mage and I have my tear and lost chapter already so I don't really need the mana right now. I even smite it at 1500 health so he knows I can't out smite him. He then combos it with his spells and somehow leaves it with enough health that my one auto attack steals it, to which he instantly backs. After waiting for the enemy lane to push in, hit our tower for a decent chunk of health, and for all the minions to die, he starts TP and types, "Aren't you glad you got that blue buff. Sure is a good thing. Our tower took almost no damage." Really? You're complaining cause you got out smited by an AUTO ATTACK FROM ANIVIA. Luckily I dinged 6 shortly after but, seriously dude, you had smite and didn't use it and I got the buff. At least be happy someone got the buff instead of it dying to the tower.
Fastforward to all of us trying to defend towers. I was doing my usual Anivia thing of place my ult, stand at the max range of it, and let it kill things. Apparently no one understood how this strategy worked cause the minute one of the enemies got slightly low, my entire team would walk forward to try and kill them, which of course prompted the bots to attack and use all of their AOE spells to eventually cancel my ult in some way (Blitzcrank ult sure is fun) if not kill us all. To which my top lane buddy pointed out "This Anivia waveclear is working out amazingly. So glad we have her."
End of the game rolls around shortly after with a loss. As expected, I did the most damage to champions with our midlaner right behind. My top lane buddy barely did a 1/5 of my damage to champion. And he barely did half of my overall damage. Obviously Anivia is a little unfair to compare with because the enemy champions will literally stand in her ult, but you'd swear with all the complaining this guy did that all I did was AFK or something.
It's a fricken fun game mode people. Stop treating it like it's ranked.
Literally all you need is an Anivia and a Kog'maw (Bloodrazor/Guinsoo/Runaans) and you can win. The rest just need to help waveclear so the first towers stay up as long as possible.
passive where the bots just prioritize it last while you kill them all?
