Enemy Ekko with Lich Bane. Counter Strategy?

I've been against so many Ekko's and they all build Lich Bane and it seems like unless I'm stacking MR, they just take out half my HP with his E auto Lich bane combo or half our ADC's health. I've tried to build Locket and using the shield to block the damage only to have him just Q and seem to do that same amount. There just doesn't seem to be a way to stop him from killing a squish target unless you play something like Fiddle and just point and click fear him.

Is there an item I should be buying to help stop him from murdering my health bar or my Adc's health bar?

summoner 3 item 3190 Tell your adc to build item 3026 if ekko is fed. But seriously, Malzahar is so good right now in LCS because of his R, which is probably the best peel tool in the game right now. If you can't pick him, then try to cc him with picks like Lulu Braum Janna . Tank top laners with decent cc will shut him down too

Insta CC or shields. Janna, Lulu, Leo, Braum does well blocking his Q which is a big part of his damage.

Big items as support are locket, redemption, Knoghts Vow, and Mikaels. Also Exhaust 100%

If laning vs him, pick an early game bully that can roam and snowball. His early-Mid game damage is so low due to all the anti-bruiser nerfs they gave him. Now he acales hard but can't compete early game. So Pantheon, Jayce, Talon, LB,

As an ekko main, I'd say you need to either shut me down early with a camp or a massive lane counter/bully, or The adc will need a maw and you will need a locket and a lot of peel, I'd also recommend not rushing the CC onto an ekko until there below 1/2 health, you will need the cc to prevent his ult.
