So, Orrn's passive in ARAM...

Orrn looks really cool, definitely the type of champ I would want to play. The only thing I keep coming back to is this: How will his passive operate in ARAM? In a game mode where no one is allowed to buy until they die, wouldn't Orrn's passive be broken OP? Will Riot alter his passive slightly for ARAM?

Aram balance is a joke sonya and ziggs are both constantly flirting with 70% winrates meanwhile lee sin (a broken champ by the community) is sitting at 35.

This thread isn't talking about ARAM balance as a whole, but rather the unfair advantage an unaltered Orrn passive would give, imagine being able to buy potions or any item you need just by backing up behind your turret for 10 seconds...

They're already confirmed Ornn cannot buy potions and other consumables with his passive.

Well that's at least a slight relief I suppose. Also it makes sense contextually since he's a blacksmith too.

To quote them:

"He's a blacksmith, not an alchemist."

The context is a part of it, but they also probably went "Hmm, letting him buy potions by walking back twenty feet is probably a bad call..."

Will Riot alter his passive slightly for ARAM?

Yes, but not for the initial PBE release.
