They put the stats on her normally and gave a her a real passive now. She isn't getting screwed over, she is getting a net buff this way.

How are passive stats not the very definition of a passive? LOL.

Straight-up stats might not be exciting, but it is a tested and true kind of passive that is solid and reliable. The purposed changes are anything but. It is terrible, gimmicky nonsense.

Well, on the other hand, Shyvana's kit, according to riot, is now supposed to function without her passive. Your intentions may be right, but the way you present your message isn't very smart.

I don't think that's a very good argument though, because no amount of power can simply be discounted from balance. Either Shyvana's kit is good without her passive, in which case the latter is excess power she doesn't need, either it factors her passive's power into her overall balancing, in which case her kit will be weak if she doesn't acquire the dragon bonuses.

To be honest, i don't really have an opinion over shyvana buffs, I've never felt like she was weak.

Shyvana has moments where she's oppressive, usually because of item synchronization, and times where she's weaker, which is when those items are nerfed.

Devourer/Guinsoo's Shyvana was a filthy monstrosity that could only be stopped by Dev/Guins Xin Zhao. Toplane Cinderhulk+Skirmisher's Shyvana was a disgusting masterpiece of design flaw that ended up getting cinderhulk destroyed.

Where she's sitting now isn't all that good, in all truth. Bork's reduced damage makes it a less valuable investment, and without the active, she loses a lot of counter-kiting potential, especially since her Ult is so easy to stop. She's a mediocre tank, a pretty bad bruiser, and without Bork's being good on much of anyone, she loses out on her Melee DPS spot.

She wasn't. The only thing she needed was a buff to her Dragonform, both in terms of stats and feeling. It _feels _rather lackluster in comparison to Gnar's transformation. You don't _feel _like you are a dragon, really.

The thing is, Shyvana needs a look-over by Riot. But only in terms of her ultimate being rather underwhelming (compare it to Gnar's transformation and the drastic effect it has on him). Her passive was literally one of the better aspects of her kit that did NOT need any mucking about with at all.

just curious is it safe to assume you are okay with the other changes like the ult size/health as well as disable immunity changes as well as the ones to her dragon w and e

and its just the passive you have a problem with
