Reworked Poppy's Best Build (Theory Crafting)

For fun, let's try to predict what sort of build or what particular items will fit with reworked Poppy the best.

Poppy has: +15% HP Ratio on her shield +12% Resistance Ratios +27% Movement Speed Looooongass cooldowns And a self inflicted slow

HP AND Resistance Ratios means that full tank or at least half tank builds are massively more effective on her relative to most other champions. Meanwhile, with massive and sometimes utility/cc based cooldowns, she will get massive mileage out of any CDR that she builds along the way.

So alright, unless her bonus AD ratios turn out to be nothing short of amazing, it looks like some sort of CDR Tank/Raid Boss build is going to suit our new iteration of Poppy down the road. Going to venture one slightly out there guess though:

item 3009

Reduces her self inflicted slow, allowing for better positioning of her Ultimate, and because it grants more Flat movement speed than any other boot, she gets a lot of mileage out of it via her W's active.

I can already say no one will build Steraks on her because all of her AD ratios scale with bonus AD.

Well, I guess she will build BC

Swifties are obviously a good choice.

It is difficult to decide on a build without info about her stats, but from the looks of it, straight-up tank, with 1 more offensive item, should be the way to go.

item 3071 obviously looks decent, between AD ratios, lots of physical damage and longish CDs. item 3025 should be another option if she has decent base AD. Especially since she has a resistance amplification that looks to work well with the Spellblade (Spellfist?) proc.

Other than that, your regular tank build should do the trick quite nicely.

Boots: Mercs or Swift's Core Build: Black Cleaver and Iceborn Gauntlet Offensive Options: Titanic Hydra, Frozen Mallet, Maw of Malmortius, and Mercurial Scimitar Defensive Options: Randuins Omen, Warmog's and Spirit Visages.

These options all scale with her abilities and offer lots of versatility. You could throw in a thornmail and or sunfire Cape if you need more armor. I just prefer a bit more offence given her W's passive. I would love to see her tried in a support role against a Graves. She could peel and keep him from using quick draw to mitigate some of his damage. Denying the ADC their farm will have a big impact too if they miss a wave here and a wave there with her ult. Bat the away from tower while their turret nukes minions. Or else shoot a jungler away from a gank.
