Games are way too onesided this season.
Out of almost every game i have played this season, one team, whether it be the on i am on or the enemy team, will completely destroy the other team snowballing out of control very fast. The other team will usually not be able to take a single turret or only take 1 to 2 and have no chance of ever coming back as the game is so inclined towards snowballing teams this season.
I know this is designed to make faster paced games in the LCS to look more flashy and draw in more viewers...however.... for the majority of the playerbase this IS NOT ENJOYABLE to play threw these games. I don't know about you, Riot, but playing a game that goes 13 to 34 in which your team cant take a single turret is not a good thing to have as a normal occurrence.
On one hand, you will be on the snowballed winning side. Most lanes will completely destroy taking turrets fast and then you will run around 3 shotting everyone and taking turrets like ripping threw wet toilet paper as their shots bounce off you like spitballs trying to defend the weaker opponents. This is fun the first 2 to 3 times and then becomes boring as there is no challenge.
On the other side it is much worse however. Several of your lanes will get dominated right from the start. Regardless on how well you play your lane the snowballed enemy team will simply roll over you like nothing after feeding off their lanes and you will be fighting an impossible to win game in no time at all. The game is so based off of who gets ahead in the first 10 minutes that the enemy team will not even have to try anymore and your team will likely never take a turret and be stuck defending inhib turrets as those are all that are left. Team will refuse to surrender as they think it is still the old game where there was always a chance to come back and so will drag the loss for 40+ minutes of powerless torture.
Gone are the days of tense 50/50 odds games where either team could win and every team fight mattered. Now the the game is just based on team comp and how snowballed can you get in 10 minutes. Along with that matchmaking feels completely onesided with people fresh off win streaks being places on the same team vs people on mostly lose streaks.
I guess this is just the game now as the LCS is far more important to Riot Games than its casual player base but it drastically leaves alot to be desired as the older versions of the game were much more Solo player friendly and more centered around playing out a strategic game than a snowball game.
