Are you seriously buffing darius more on the pbe? I literally just played a game against a darius. He was able to tank the inner turrets, kill me, then walk out ALIVE. I seriously think riots balance team is on cocaine or something. In every single game there is a darius now. You guys never focus on the champions who really need a nerf. Whats that? The support is doing damage? Better nerf him. Oh? Armor is actually doing what its supposed to do? Lets nerf armor too!

Darius Attack speed per level increased Decimate (Q) damage increased to 40/65/90/115/140 from 20/40/60/80/100

Why don't you just increase his ult damage to 1000 while you're at it?

You must be a noob if you think Darius is balanced he still has the same problems as old Darius but now he has a shitty laning phase added on so he is weak throughout the game which is not acceptable.

I think all opinions matter. Thats what the boards are for. Does it say bronze section here,silver section there? It doesn't matter what rank you are. You immediately lost all credibility by stating that because i am bronze/silver that my opinion doesn't matter. Please leave the thread if your only argument is to insult people. Thanks

Why does he need a buff to his laning? They literally nerfed armor this patch. Armor is shit. He was chunking me despite all the armor i had. His laning is perfectly fine.

His laning phase is NOT perfectly fine. In fact a majority of the community agrees on this.

Darius is absolutely garbage now. They removed all his move speed buffs so he can't even get in range to do his massive damage. You want a penta with Darius? You better be in bronze then.

Maybe darius isn't the problem. Maybe its the fact that towers do absolute shit for your team. If a tower can't protect me from ONE enemy champion who kills me at FULL HEALTH with ARMOR ITEMS and walks out ALIVE then something is wrong obviously.

To be fair, stating you had a high amount of armor is meaningless, if we don't know what Darius built.

Edit: Okay yeah, Darius had Black Cleaver, if we assume he applied max stacks of its passive to you, and then had his maxed E; he was invalidating a pretty huge portion of your armor (along with flat pen and % pen from runes / masteries of course)

Also worth noting that Darius had NOTHING but armor and health built, if your tower did any real damage to him, it would be a travesty (he didn't even have a single MR item, he had sunfire, ninja tabis, randuins, deadmans plate, and warmogs; thats over 200 armor. You really want a tower to be able to eat through that significantly?)

Edit 2: Even more important to note, Darius is the odd one out among bruisers; he doesn't have a single defensive steroid. Nearly every other (if not every other) bruiser has one, Darius is one of the only ones who flat out NEEDS to build defenses to get tanky.

Considering your team is (besides you and darius anyway) relatively squishy. Yeah; nearly anyone in the game could do significant damage to them.

Worth noting Black Cleaver DOES give him 40 AD, and while he does gain extreme amounts of AD from Bloodrage (now called Noxian Might TY meddler; much better name), he is like most bruisers; very easy to kite.

The counterplay to these kinds of champions, is to just never let them reach you.

Darius' problems lay in the laning phase specifically; while his teamfighting is good if he can get noxian might, his laning phase was pretty severely nerfed by his rework, to the point that any equally skilled bruiser (or some melee carries; notably fiora) can beat him pretty handily with little effort.

Thats just it though, thats not really a defensive steroid; its a heal (okay well, I guess it can be counted as one but you get what i'm trying to say)

Darius is one of the few people among bruisers who actually needs to build tank items, to get somewhat tanky (other bruisers like Wukong or Garen get armor or increased resistances and the like naturally from their kits)

The problem is that towers protect you early while you protect towers later.

I do think, however, that all laser towers are pretty shit regardless. At least before they provided utility in the form of movement speed slow (and damage reduction, but that was a secondary effect really).
