Unacceptable global lag in ranked game (Riot please respond)

Lost game because 4 of our 5 all got 600 ping for 4 minutes twice in a ranked game which led to a loss. None of us are queued together or know each other at all. We don't even have same internet service provider. This is ridiculous. I lost my last game in my series even though I had played incredibly well. If my team doesn't get loss prevented I will be thoroughly disappointed.
