I know this will probably get downvoted but what if you gave everyone a sightstone assigned to a #?

Yeah so everyone bitches about warding and sightstone is boring to use and lot's of people don't buy it so what if you gave everyone a 3 charge one? it will slowly upgrade over levels and be full on lvl 9. so lvl 1 you won't get all 3 and the full time, you will start the same as you do now but over time it will last longer and get 3 finally. And I am talking about the wards only, not the entire item given to each person including it's health etc. Maybe it will motivate more then just the support to ward. so assign it to another # or ` or something.

now supports won't have to rush sightstone and can use it for something else. like rushing redemption.

yeah since shiv, ie cost exactly the same and so does redemption. and also I said just the wards not the health on it. good post

Yellow trinket use to upgrade to a better one. They took it out, so they already had your idea, and removed it lmao.

I just love how everyone on Gameplay section think they have all the answers to balancing league.

If you remove the cost of warding and make warding too easy then supports will just have some other responsibility slapped on them.

Yep. The only way to remove the "sole" responsibility of warding from supports is to remove the ability to ward at all imo.

I don't think you remember season 5 where wards were overpowered as all hell. I mean, I enjoyed it because I played in silver at the time so I was the smart one abusing wards, but back then you could upgrade your trinket to hold 2 green wards that had a 1 minute recharge. You also were able to buy green wards then too. And let's not forget that sightstone held 4 charges and ruby sightstone had 5. In competitive junglers used to buy sightstone before tracker's knife was a thing, so you would see 2 sightstones per team in competitive games and even in solo q if you played against a very support style of jungling.

but then supports will just bitch about always having to build redemption. Vision is important for your lane, regardless if its 'fun' aspect isn't the same as your adc building damage items or you building redemption or another support item
