New dragons -> New Shyvana rework suggestion

Shyvanas passive is all around the dragons and since dragons become more important so is the need to get them first resulting shyvana falling behind.

What I suggest is to make shyvana a more reliable champion on her own with a unique twist. She will have 2 forms that you can control to have.

  • Passive: Fury of the Dragonborn Shyvana has fury as resource 0-200. Fury generates only on skill use and is consumed on skill use. Shyvana has 2 forms human and dragon. Starts with human and after reaching 200 she transforms into dragon form.Using all fury in dragon form turns her back to human

-In Human form gains 5 to 25 movement speed and 10-30 hp5 on levels 1/4/8/12/16 (allowing jungle and some minor sustain while being more mobile)

Abilities dont share cooldown in human or dragon form meaning you can use both ultimates if you want but due to the internal cooldowns if you swap between forms fast you will see some skills on cooldown.

-in Dragon form gain 150 health 10 armor and 10 mr.Each time Shyvana turns into a Dragon gain a Dragon stack. Each Dragon stack gives shyvana extra +10 health +1 armor and +1 mr during her Dragon form

  • Abilities:

Q: Twin bite (human) / Tail Swipe (Dragon)

-Twin bite : generates 10/15/20/25/30 fury when used on enemy/monster/tower cooldown 12 seconds Shyvana's next basic attack within 6 seconds strikes an additional time dealing bonus physical damage(10/20/30/40/50% ad) The second strike applies on-hit effects and is affected by Critical strike icon critical strike modifiers.

Tail Swipe: consumes 20/25/30/35/40 fury cooldown 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Shyvana spins around and stuns nearby enemies for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second dealing physical damage(90/160/210/260/310 + 40% ad)

W: Burnout (human) / Dragonic scales (Dragon)

-Burnout : generates 5 fury per second cooldown 14/13/12/11/10 seconds Passive : Getting hit by an enemy increases Shyvana's movement speed by 5% for 1,5 seconds stacks up to 5 times Active: Shyvana gains 10/20/30/40/50% attack speed and her basic attack deal bonus magic damage (20/35/45/55/65 +30% bonus ad + 60% ap) for 4 seconds. attacking an enemy extends the duration by 1 second up to 4 seconds.

  • Dragonic scales : consumes 40 fury cooldown 22/21/20/19/18 seconds passive : Shyvana is surrounded by flames dealing magic damage per second(5/10/15/20/25 + 10% bonus ad + 25% ap) around her. (old burnout aoe dmg permanent) Active : Shyvana doubles her armor and mr for 1,5 seconds and after that gains a shield (60/90/120/150/180 + 10% of max health)

E: Flame Breath (human) / Flame Blast (Dragon)

-Flame Breath : generates 5/10/15/20/25 + 5 fury per enemy hit max 5 enemies cooldown 14/13/12/11/10 seconds Shyvana breaths fire in a small cone in front of her dealing magic damage(60/90/120/150/180 + 20% ad +40% ap ) enemies then take 6% of the current health as bonus magic damage over the next 3 seconds.

-Flame Blast : consumes 10/15/20/25/30 fury cooldown 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Shyvana unleashes a fireball in the target direction, dealing magic damage(60/100/140/180/220 + 30% ad +60% ap )to all enemies hit.Upon reaching the end or upon hitting an enemy hero flame blast explodes dealing extra damage(30/60/120/150/180 +10%ad + 20%ap) and slowing them by 99% falling off over the next second.

R: Exploding Rage (human) / Dragon's Descent (dragon)

-Exploding Rage : generates 30/50/70 fury cooldown 90/75/60 seconds Shyvana erupts flames around her dealing magic damage(150/225/300+50% bonus ad + 80% ap)

-Dragon's Descent : consumes 40/50/60 fury cooldown 120/105/80 seconds Shyvana flies/dashes to target location breathing fire on her way and scorching the ground beneath her dealing magic damage(40/60/80 + 30% bonus ad + 50% ap) per second for 5 seconds.

As you can see shyvana will have 2 unique ways of playing based on her form.Human being more agile and dragon being more bulky.Managing the fury and the cooldowns on skills to make combos will give a greater depth to the character and many ways to show your skill with the character.

ngl.. this looks disgusting.. I mean right now shes pretty broken with how hard her ap scalings are.. but god just reading that R alone hurts bc u could just take CDR and then keep using the dragon form, at some point this just because a dump character for spamming human R, then dumping everything of the dragon kit onto somebody, then redoing the cycle. If shyvana were to be reworked, I'd much rather see her made into an actual semi tank/bruiser and not have her scalings be broken and able to 1 shot people.

So from what I can see you cannot control when Shyvana transforms and it's like Gnar?

While that sounds interesting I don't think it works for Shyvana as much.

Also generating fury and devolving is a bit too easy. Her cooldown will be about 20 seconds between swapping forms with a bit of CDR and levels.

Her ult feels just as "non" epic as it does now.

E feels super good, but nothing else really gives you the "holy crap it's Shyvana!" factor. Especially if her transformation is automatic.

To compare, Morde E Q feels really good, and he also feels unstoppable when walking alone.

Aatrox Qs especially Q3 feel very satisfying and so does his ult.

Gnar has that epic ult moment.

Shyvana nudges people with her nose as she flies over them and landing an non AP E is one of the "what hit me?" moments.

A lot of what you have for human form works though, personally I'd remove the Ult on human form for the power she is getting and revert to 100 Fury, but have 2 ways of getting more.

Fury while dead Fury from E on hits

This should be plenty for her.

If we are keeping twin bite, then remove the % scaling with points and keep the ATKSPD as the only thing that scales. Start at 50% and scale to 100 based on level not points. Making this the 1 point wonder it should be.

I like this a lot this maybe coupled with tenacity or increasing slow resistance instead?

Burnout is iconic to Shyvana, I'm fine leaving it mostly the same as well for human form.

We gonna need to nerf that 6% lol, but over all I'd opt to change this ability completely and leave the fire breathing to the Dragon form.

Over All looks good, but I'd tried to make dragon form feel more Epic.

Why not just make Shyvana a normal transform champion, But make it so she uses dragons descent when at 200 fury, then uses fury while in dragon form to use her "empowered" abilities?

Her passive needs to be untangled from the jungle to be honest.
