Suggestion for a balanced akali rework that can probably please players (Riot please)
Currently Akali is in a bad position. No one wants to fight her and shes also hard to use. Her new iteration is quite fun but also hard to balance. Riots just butchers her with each new changes and that makes her worse than her pre reworked state. Many including me say her true invisibility is the core problem.Being Able to dive with no concerns of towers takes away any kind of security a players has when facing against her.That being said its a nice new mechanic and fits her.It only needs to be adjusted.
My suggestion is as following:
New passive: Twin dragon assassin After akali hits an enemy with an ability a half dragon mark appears on target. With 2 abilities the mark is completed and a ring around the enemy with the mark appears. While akali is inside the ring her next auto attack on the target gains 400 range dealing bonus magic damage(+ap) and heals her for base value(+ad).(healing vs minions is reduced).
Q: Kunai flurry Has 2 charges .Gains a charge on champion kill/assist. Like current q with less damage but with longer range.No longer heals her. Scales with ad only. cost 35 energy each use.
W:Twilight shroud bomb Akali jumps in an area(400/500/600/700 range) dealing magic damage(+ap) and smashes a smoke bomb on landing. Smoke has 2 stages. When used for the 2 first seconds gives true invisibility after that the smoke spreads and becomes thinner making just invisible lasting 6 seconds(2 seconds true invisibility in the impact of the shroud and 4 normal seconds). Inside the smoke she gains increased movement speed.
E:Shadow shuriken Akali throws a shuriken marking an enemy dealing physical damage(+ad). No longer flips backwards. Re cast to dash to the enemy slashing and moving in front of him dealing magic damage(+ap).
Ultimate is fine [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
With this version her shroud can still be used to dive but it wont be a safe place to stay for long.Binding her invisibility with a movement while removing her flip forces akali users to plan before jumping in with the shroud since they can no longer use her shuriken to mini dash around and move freely. Her healing is now from a single hit source and will only provide enough sustain to manage in longer fights.
