Nocturne the true eternal nightmare rework suggestion

Nocturne should be a champion that everyone fears and that hunts enemies. As he is right now he is very bland and somehow unfitting for a horror champions but with some changes he can become everyone's nightmare that isolates his targets and plays with their fears.

Passive: his healing scales with health

ap noc is just a gimmick and really useless

Q:Duskbringer grands lower ad (starts with 15 up to 40)

W:Shroud of Darkness Passive: nocturne gains bonus attack speed against enemies under any form of cc(10-30%). Active : nocturne reduces the sight radius or nearby enemies and removes their ally vision for 1-4 seconds. Enemies with reduced vision are slowed (20%).

this will provide a very tactical option for nocturne to disorient enemies when ganking thus making him fearful. Not being a global effect now it will be only suited for direct teamfights or ganking only.

E: Unspeakable horror Nocturne targets an enemy alerting him. (400-800 range) After 2 seconds nocturne emerges behind the enemy stabbing them dealing physical damage(+ad) and fearing them for 2 seconds upon arrival.

What can be most agonizing that telling your enemy that you are next.Surely he will have time to react and try to run or seek help from the team but in combination with his w noc can go in cause some chaos and then he leaves.

R:Paranoia Nocturne summons a shade behind every enemy in the map slowing them.Shades create dusk trails as they follow their champions.Nocturne can then choose to take the place of a shade. Upon arrival he deals physical damage in a small area around the switched shade and fears all enemies in range(400) for 1 second besides the target that was followed by the shade he switched.

His ultimate is now the his best tool to mess with the enemy team. As I said with his e telling an enemy thats he can be a potential target inflicts paranoia and even they try to seek help the fear will isolate the target for some seconds making him helpless.With the created dusk trails noc will gain the needed movement speed to strike and bail.

The you can truly call Nocturne the Eternal Nightmare. Hoped you liked it :) and never forget Nocturne : darknesss

U need to try to create a gameplay pattern or hook that really creates fear in the target. For instance: his Q - upon hitting an enemy it leaves a pool of darkness that widens over time and trails behind them, the more units of distance they move the thinner the radius of the trail/pool. Nocturn gains increased x effect based on the radius of the pool/ trail he is currently in

This creates fear and a specific action in the target. They HAVE to run because if they stay still they will make Noct stronger, but if they run they will only lead Noct to them. This creates fear, because no matter what they do Noct will win in some way if they get hit. But what's important is that they will choose the "better" option out of fear. U want to play with their minds and create true genuine fear.

It should also be pointed out that ur not really speccing into his nightmare theme, but this post would really benefit from some clearing up and more explanations

I like the thought behind these abilities. At his core, Noc should be scary for people to face. He just doesn't feel like that right now (minus his ult).

He was my first champ I really wanted to main years ago. I'd love to see him remade into something truly spooky :)

in the mean time id like it if they made his garbage ultimate less garbage, by making it so you cant side step it with any dash mechanic, or avoid it by hitting a certain movespeed threshold.

Give him passive that grants him basic attack execute from full health. Now he is champion that everyone fears :^)

Too much CC. Remove fear from E if you’re gonna be blinking to them with it. Sure it sounds balanced for teamfights, but being an immobile laner? Good luck.

W doesn’t need to slow.

R has the same problem as E. Instantaneous global teleport and CC? No thanks.

His current E has a delayed tether effect for a reason.

There is a champion in Dota 2, that has trails that speed her up, and that EXACT same ult, her name is spectre

Some examples for gameplay: Noc ganks bot lane-> shows up starts with E.After teleporting to enemy adc and fears him he uses his W to slow and cut vision from support.All thats left is use Q or with the help from the team clean up.

Typical team fight scenario-> your team fights with lower number.Noc uses R and shades create many trails of dusk he then choses one target teleport to him dealing damage and fears the rest of the enemy team.If the enemy tries to escape he uses his E on a running enemy in the windows of those 2 seconds he hits any other nearby enemy with his Q or just uses W before he teleports n marked target.

There are many ways that noc can mess up with the enemy.

I know that in Dota,Dota 2 and HoN they have heroes with that kind of ulti but its not the same.And lets be honest it will fit nocturne by far better than the others game
