URF needs a 0 minute time limit for surrender.

Since most games are decided at champion select.

For example: I just tried Nunu, not an OP pick, not the best pick, but i thought he might be fun. My team was: Sion, Brand, Jhin and Draven.

Enemy Team: Ezreal, Galio, Sona, Zed, Katarina.

There is absolutely no point in playing this game. Of course we got destroyed so hard, I wonder that my wins in my match history didnt become loses to compensate how hard we got our ass handed to us.

My point is: If you end up against a full "I only want to hear the victory sound and I am willing to do anything for it!" team, why cant we just surrender right away and give them what they want? I mean they are clearly not playing for fun (unless of course you go with "WINNING IS FUN FUN FUN! WINNING! FUN!")

Boo hoo... I want to play a weaker pick and only play against others with weaker picks and not what may be stronger than my picks.

You do realize the hypocrisy here right? You only want to play games where your champions are as strong or stronger in the 'meta' (in this case in the game mode) than your opponents' are. Thing is, they're doing the exact same thing - only difference is that they're ensuring it by picking the ones at the top of the chain.

I was a Hecarim jungle main in season 4-5 (before he became a top lane king). He's probably still one of my favourite champions, I just don't play him on the rift anymore because I no longer jungle and I prefer other picks top lane. So of course I played Hecarim whenever he wasn't banned in URF last year, not because I was picking an OP pick but because one of my favourite picks was also OP. Similarly, I'll probably play him a lot in URF this year because I've hardly played him at all and want to have some fun on him!

It's not like everyone is purposely picking OP picks. They're picking someone they already like out of their pool, who happens to be strong in the game mode. I.e. they're not picking the champions they like that are weak in the game mode. You can't blame them for that.

So you are fine with the fact that only about 20 of all Champions are viable picks on URF?

I'd say a lot more than 20 are viable. Even if the number were ~20-23, that's 1/6 of all champions. Assuming your champion pool is at least 12 champions, odds are pretty good you play at least one strong champion in the mode. If you don't, maybe it's a great opportunity to start enjoying someone new? There's also going to be a free rotation available in case you don't own a strong pick.

Thats not my point. I have the most OP picks for URF, which could guarantee me a near 100% winrate against anything but others who pick them, but that makes the mode so freaking boring. There is so much potential lost because alot of fun champs just get destroyed by the top picks, no matter how good you play them. So many Champions could be awesome and super fun to play with and even play against in URF, but they remain unpicked because either you pick the broken tops or lose to those who do. Its going to be like the last 2 URFs, you will see the same few CHampions over and over and over and over again, while you will never see more than 2/3 of all Champions in the game more than maybe one time, where they get raped by the top broken picks.

If you want that you can as well play ranked. No I take that back, way more champiosn are viable in ranked play that in URF!

Easy, if you got bored, don't play URF anymore. I personally want to play not the op champs, but the less viable champs and see how they do in URF. Even URF can take some skills depending on what champ you are playing.

One question, how would your "0 minute time limit for surrender" thing save URF if your reason is true? People are still going to pick op champ like you said even with the instant surrender option. And there is a good chance that players might abuse the instant surrender button, as in every single URF game after this is impediment will immediately end, because of the very reason above.

Riot would be better to do what they did in the past URFs, ban the stupidly gamebreaking-ly op champs in Solo q and remove the ban in custom games.

That would only take away the fun the other team would get from destroying you guy for picking badly in champ select lol. Riot wont implement this just cause of that sole reason.

And no the point of URF is so you can spam as much as mcuh as you can and out play by doing crazy shit in urf, and you can barely do that if the game ends in 5 mins lol

You realise what you are saying? You literally said "If you didnt pick one of the 20 broken Champions, you deserve to have no fun in this FUNMODE!"

Rain NT1 votes

then theres no point of having URF cause THERE WILL BE OP champions and you cant deny someone having fun cause you pick terrible champions and want to surrender. Either join the fun and pick an op champion or pick an underrated champion and try to survive and lose until 20 mins. chose or pick, if you dont want to play it all the way out then dont play URF.

How did URF brand not destroy them he's godly in URF.

Moral of the story is, always ban Galio, always ban Sona, always ban Fizz, and always ban Zed. I don't care that you can't, figure it out. (But always ban in that order lol)

We only have 6 bans. thats way too less to deal with all broken Champions. we would need 20 bans in total just to get rid of the "must ban/pick" champions
