Riven compared to Yasuo or Fizz is honestly a lot less worse, and here's why.

Yes Riven has the "cancer" kit, obviously, but Riven is acually in a surprisingly balanced state at the moment! (compared to season 3... oh god)

Secondly, Riven CAN'T go tanky, or she'll deal no damage. Not like other... -COUGH- -AIDS-

Third, Riven has no "insane" aids ability, unlike Yasuo or Fizz, - [THE E], and instead is aids all around.

Riven is surprisingly, one of the better champions to verse over Fizz and Yasuo, or all those tank assassins.

You clearly haven't seen the Titanic Hydra Rivens that have been floating around higher elo these days. Let me tell you: Riven item 3071 item 3748 item 3156 item 3111 item 3143 item 3142 is pretty damn hard to kill while still doing tons of damage.

i find riven much worse to fight than yasuo.

i know yasuos mobility restrictions and can work around that. meanwhile riven is almost twice as mobile as him and can kite and outposition you whereever you are.

also, animation cancelling with 2 hard cc abilities in her kit makes her cancer to fight. you eat her burst without having much of a chance to trade back.

Guess I've been hearing too many people complain about Rito xD

I agree with she's not as bad as Fizz since she has no 'Ohhhhhh out play! Out play!' like with Fizz's E, and I dont find Yasuo bad, so.... :/

Her stun is only .75 seconds and has terrible range, so it's really not that powerful. especially 1v1. Irelia's E outmatches it in every way.

In order for her to hit you with her knock up to 'cc lock' you, she needs to waste her Q1 and Q2 on minions or nothing. Her Q+empowered auto+W+ empowered auto does about 200 damage early lvls (5~9), about 150 lvl 3, and it's only late game that it does a good chunk - but then, what are you waiting for? All in her! All her abilities are down!
