She is and (with this current kit) will always be a botlane support. I've played Mid Sona for shits and gigs, but I would never take that into ranked (I hardly even take support Sona into ranked either.)

The fact that the majority of Sona players build AP tells you how less and less useful she's become.

Sona is viable right now.

I'm so tired of these threads that are like, "X champion is getting attention, but what about X." Please refrain from making these topics. They're rude, and 9 times out of 10 your champion has gotten attention recently while a lot of the champions that are finally getting looked at haven't for years.

Sona for example has the most high quality skin in the game that was dropped just this year.

I agree that support Sona is a bit difficult to make work currently because she needs AP, and Sightstone only offers a health increase while taking up space for another AP item. However she is far from unusable, and that's insulting to the champions that actually are currently.

riots already commented on sonas state recently. They arent gonna ignore her solo queue winrate and pretend it hasnt consistently been high. Sorry but you are circlejerking up the wrong tree

I have no idea what you are talking about, my sona solo lane and support is OP. She could use a bit of help on her E, but her Q W and ult are fine. I can out trade majority of the time as a support. Sona is a nuisance to the enemy ADC, and a clutch kill denier and initiator in team fights.
