Petition to give Ornn back his unstoppable on W and nerf him elsewhere.

Please for the love of god, give this back to Ornn. You can nerf his damage to hell, I don't care, but please give me back my unstoppable!

Edit: Just to try and be more helpful I have a couple of proposals to nerf his damage output without reducing his winrate too hugely in low elos:

Proposal A:

Simply just increase the CD on his W so he has to think twice about using it. Currently with 40% CDR Ornn can reach a 4s CD on his W which is way too low granted the effects it has tied to it.

Or

Proposal B:

Limit Ornn on how often he can "clap" (Proc brittle targets with an Auto to chunk them) with a CD. A lot of the time during teamfights I get A LOT of chances to proc brittle with my autos, those chunks really add up when you land your breath on a few enemies and are able to auto each of them one after the other.

What do you guys think? Do you have any other proposals for nerfs instead of this (imo) overkill solution?

I would personally prefer this, but Meddler just gave reasoning for why they are doing this. Apparently Ornn is doing exceptionally well in high elo, but is playing like shit everywhere else. That is why they are nerfing the one part of his kit that allows any amount of skill expression, to see if they can take down his high level play without really touching the low level stuff.

is this a joke ??? what about giving him his w unstopable back then giving ALL BRUISERSS 7 TO 9 MR to defend against it in lvl 1 and not loose the lane because of that ?? i think that whould be fair oh wait if they do so tanks wont be toplane kings anymore so nope sry

Unstoppable is a pretty powerful effect, every other champ who possesses it has it tied to their ultimate with a pretty long cooldown. Malphite Sion Vi Olaf Having it on such a low CD basic ability leads to him negating alot of key elements of the kits of enemy champs.

And like some people already pointed out, he is performing extremely well in pro play, while being significantly weaker in lower elo. There were other champions like that in the past Azir Kalista And they didn't turn out healthy. If they were meaningful in low elo, they completely dominated pro play.

Therefore, it was best to nerf a part of his kit which gets used extremely effective by pro players, while low elo players don't utilise it in a great way. His unstoppable was a way to achieve that....

And I understand that his unstoppable on low CD was unique for him, but keep in mind, he already has tons of stuff that makes him unique.

  • able to buy items in lane
  • able to upgrade items for team
  • able to destroy enemy terrain
  • only source of brittle (enhance ally CC duration)

He still got alot of unique benefits going for him.

GOD NO... this nerf is 100% needed and anyone upvoting this is an Ornn main. You arent gonna get this to happen if literally the only people suggesting it are salty Ornn players. No his W had 0 counterplay and was rightfully nerfed. Stop crying.
