Xin Zhao: The State of His Play

Hey all, I am an extremely active jungle main... however I would like to talk about one champion in the jungle that I believe needs some change. Xin at the moment at least from my experience is too strong with his dueling potential on patch 7.5. I understand xins entire kit is lifesteal and attack speed I understand that; however with being buffed I feel the state of outplaying him is very low and takes a very low skill cap to play. I believe it is time to hit him with some nurfs or a very small rework. In lower elos he is crushing and the state of the game to me with him in them is unfair. What do you guys think?

This honestly means nothing without stats to back it up. Show the bump in his WR, or how he can't be responded to (i.e. if you play vs him properly but he still runs you over/runs you over despite supposedly being extremely behind). Otherwise, you're just upset.

he's fine. if he can be destroyed consistently, then there is no issue.

What are you talking about?? The 15% reduction in item 3153 's attack speed as well as the gutting of its active made the changes a pretty big nerf for Xin Zhao. Xin Zhao already has mediocre AD ratios, so he relies much more on Attack Speed to proc the on-hit damage he builds as well as proc his passive healing.

This post makes no sense...

I play him in the JG as well (I haven't RECENTLY, if you were to check my match history, but I do play him there) and I think that he's really situational. There are times when, like you said, Xin can completely DOMINATE. But on the other hand, when there have been times, where despite all my efforts, I just fall behind and can't catch up to my opponent JG.

I've always thought that XinZhao here was meant to be an easy-to-learn JG, akin to Warwick . As you got more skilled in the role, you could move on to more complex JG's.

And aside from all this, XinZhao is, from what I understand based on Riot's new Sub-class divisions, a "Diver". So, when the "Diver" Update rolls around (It was originally thought to be the next one in line after the Assassin update, but it was derailed by the Vanguards) he will most likely be getting changes then, if not sooner depending on how things go.

idk, as a talon mid who gets camped more than a religious event, xin is the least of my worries, he can easily be dispatched with just w q aa and maybe ignite, and late game, he's not better
