I am not a great player by any means but when it comes down to my mmr it is lower than it should be for my division. I continue to win games but gain no LP any idea how to fix this please?

You have to keep winning.

I understand that but my mmr goes down a lot with a loss and only goes up a little with a win, and while I am gaining LP it just basically negates all progress?

You don't know how much your mmr changes up/down with wins/losses. Remember third party estimates are merely estimates and are unlikely to actually be accurate.

If you win >50% of the time, your mmr will inch upwards. What your LP does in the short term doesn't really matter, as your LP trends will bring your rank in line with your mmr in the long run.

Thank you for the advice, so should I just keep playing and eventually it will even out?

Yes.

You keep losing until you hit Bronze V then you won't be able to go down any further

I am currently B4 rn, I am trying to climb but like i said my mrr doesnt increase with a win because it is negated by the LP I gain so i am always below average

If you play with a higher ranked player as your duo (try for the highest possible MMR difference between you two) you can artificially inflate your MMR because you will consistently play stronger opponents.

The downside of this is that the games are going to be much tougher and the inflation only occurs if you keep winning. This will also artificially deflate your duo's MMR. The wide skill gap ma also make games frustrating as players of vastly different skills will be involved in the match.

This strategy is most useful for smurf players playing with another smurf as the duo.

Alright so for example, i just lost a game and went down 30 mmr. When i win a game my mrr only goes up by 10 at the most. That also means that my LP went up so no gain was made in fact it is a tank in the MMR whenever I win, so I have no idea how to raise it then.

You fix your win rate so that your win rate isn't negative. You must have a better than 50% win rate in order to have even gains and losses.

The only way you can truly improve your MMR is by winning. However, if you want to catch your MMR up to your true rating quicker you can dodge your promos while you continue to win until you're back up to a desired point gain average
